A search results page (SRP) is the inventory grid or list a shopper sees after searching or filtering on a dealer, auction or marketplace site. Each card typically shows a photo, price, mileage and a few key specs, and links to the vehicle detail page.
The SRP is where shoppers compare. For out-of-area buyers, shipping cost is part of that comparison whether or not the site shows it. A car that is a little cheaper but far away can end up costing more once delivery is added. A shipping indicator on the SRP helps remote shoppers judge which listings are realistic before they click.
There are practical limits. An SRP can show dozens of vehicles at once, and the shopper's destination is often unknown at that point. Lightweight formats fit better here than a full form: a price strip or a button that opens a quote, with origin and vehicle details pulled from each listing.
For dealers and marketplaces, the SRP is a good place to signal that delivery is available, and the VDP is the place for the full quote. Placement ideas for both are in add shipping quotes to your dealer website.
