What the buyer sees
The form shows pickup ZIP, delivery ZIP, the vehicle, transport type and a pickup date. When your page passes the vehicle and the lot ZIP, the only field left is the buyer's delivery ZIP. They get a live price with a transit estimate and an expiry time, then book on a secure page that opens in a new tab.
Every price comes from the same live engine our FMCSA-licensed fulfillment partner uses to book the shipment. Nothing on the form is an estimate that changes after the buyer commits: the booking page carries the exact quote forward and states that the final price is confirmed by the fulfillment partner.
Where it earns its place
The form belongs where the buying decision happens. On a vehicle detail page it answers the question an out-of-state shopper has before they call: what will it cost to get this car to me? On an auction's won-vehicle page it turns transport from a separate errand into the next step of checkout.
If the page is tight on space, start with the price strip under the sticker price. It opens this same form in a dialog with everything prefilled.
Prefill and data quality
Each attribute is optional, validated before use and editable by the buyer. Invalid values are ignored rather than breaking the form. Year, make, model and VIN travel to the booking page, so the order that reaches dispatch matches the vehicle on your page. Attribution
Each quote is stored against your partner key at the moment it is created, and the booking that follows inherits that attribution. Questions
Does the quote form slow down my vehicle pages?
The script loads asynchronously, has no dependencies and renders inside a shadow root, so it does not block your page or inherit your CSS. It makes a network request only when the buyer asks for a price, plus small anonymous usage events.
Can buyers change the vehicle or ZIP we prefill?
Yes. Prefill only saves typing. Every field stays editable, and the price is always calculated from what the buyer submits, so a buyer shipping to a second address or swapping to enclosed transport gets the right number.
Who handles the shipment after the buyer books?
Our FMCSA-licensed fulfillment partner confirms the price, assigns a carrier and manages pickup and delivery. Your team does not dispatch anything. You see the quote and booking in your partner dashboard.
