Quote delivery on every vehicle page, before the buyer calls.

Your inventory already reaches buyers several states away. An instant delivery price on the vehicle page answers their last question and turns transport into a booked order, without your team quoting or dispatching anything.

Placement

Where the quote goes

  1. 01

Price strip · Under the sticker price on the VDP

Puts the delivery cost next to the price a remote shopper is already comparing.

  2. 02

Quote form · Online checkout and the deal jacket step

Makes transport part of the purchase, with the VIN and lot ZIP carried into the order.

  3. 03

Tracked quote link · Sold-car confirmation email and texts

Reaches the buyer at the moment they need transport, with no website change.

Out-of-state buyers are a real share of the market

A national survey by Cars.com found that about 10% of recent buyers crossed state lines to buy a car. uShip's 2026 buyer report found that 13% of buyers had their vehicle delivered or shipped, and that among buyers who purchased 100 or more miles from home, 37% shipped the car. Sources are listed below. With the average franchised dealership retailing hundreds of new and used units a year (NADA), even a small delivery share is a steady stream of shipments.

What changes for your store

Today, most stores handle a shipping request with a phone call to a transporter they know, a price relayed back to the buyer, and paperwork chased by a salesperson. An embedded instant quote replaces that loop:

  • The buyer sees a live price on the vehicle detail page, prefilled from your inventory feed.
  • They book on a secure page. Our FMCSA-licensed fulfillment partner confirms the price, assigns a carrier and handles pickup from your lot.
  • Your partner dashboard records the quote and the booking against your dealership.

Set it up in your website platform

Most dealer website platforms allow a custom HTML block on the vehicle detail template. Add the price strip with your inventory fields mapped to the data attributes (year, make, model, VIN, lot ZIP). If you can only add site-wide code, start with the floating badge and move to the strip when your provider maps the fields. The developer docs list every attribute.

Keep the sale clean

Transport is booked between the buyer and the fulfillment partner, so your store is not the shipper of record and does not collect freight charges. Your inspection and title processes stay as they are. Read shipping a car to an out-of-state buyer for the handoff checklist, and the bill of lading for what to document at pickup.

Questions

Does our dealership become the shipper or broker?

No. The buyer books transport with our FMCSA-licensed fulfillment partner, which acts as the broker of record and assigns a licensed carrier. Your store refers the buyer through the widget and releases the vehicle at pickup.

Can our website provider install it?

Yes. The widget is one HTML snippet with data attributes. Any platform that supports a custom HTML or script block on the vehicle template can install it. If yours only supports site-wide code, start with the floating badge.

What does it cost the dealership?

It is free to apply and free to embed. Partner compensation, if any, is set in your signed partner agreement. The buyer pays the transport price shown in the quote.
